Heat Exchanger & Pressure Vessels

  • Shell & Tube Type Exchanger

We manufacture Heat Exchangers like Coolers, Condensers, Evaporators, Chillers, Condensers etc for various application in Chemical Plant /Petrochemical Industry/Power Stations/Dairy Industry. The Equipments fabricated by us are as per the Client's Specifications and Drawings confirming to ASME Sect. VIII & TEMA. Stage-wise & Final Inspection of the Fabricated Equipments has been carried out by Client's own Inspection Wing or Third-Party Inspection Agency deputed by them.

Thermal Design of Heat Exchangers

Client gives us the Thermal Design Parameters of the Fluids on both the sides. Based on the nature of the fluids, first of all appropriate MOC is selected. Again, based on the nature of fluids appropriate type of Heat Exchanger is selected. After the initial confirmation on the above from client, thermal design is carried out on internationally reputed software’s like HTRI/HTFS. The Heat Exchangers is optimized within the allowed parameters of Pressure Drop, using the allowed values of Fouling Factors, Fluid Velocity etc. This design is submitted for initial approval from the client

Mechanical Design of the Heat Exchangers/Pressure Vessels

After receipt of approval of Thermal Design Calculations from client/HTRI Output Data from Consultant, Mechanical design based on applicable Codes like TEMA & ASME etc is carried out Complete Mechanical Design including Local Load Analysis on Nozzles as per WRC 107 is carried out on PV Elite/Bjack and thickness of various components is arrived at Drawings based on completed Mechanical Design are prepared & submitted to client/consultant for approval completely as per ASME & TEMA Codes. Based on the approval given to the drawing and calculations, either manufacturing process is taken up or rework on drawings/design is carried out to achieve the closure on the same.

  • U Tube Bundle

We also undertake the complete manufacture & supply of Tube Bundles / Tube Nests / U Tube Bundles only for existing heat exchangers. Inter - Fitment is a major & critical point to be taken care off during the manufacture of the same, as the Tube Bundle is to be manufactured considering the tolerance of the existing heat Exchangers & not Code Tolerance. For the same we either 1) Manufacture the Tube Bundle on manufacturer provided As Built Drawing or 2) Depute out Representative to the site for taking the actual dimension of the existing Tube Bundle and the Shell within which the same is fitting. Inter-Fitment guarantee is given by us. We also undertake the complete manufacture of U Tube Bundles. For the same we have complete Set of Fixtures for the 3/2" & 1" OD Tubes. The minimum Bending Radius carried out by us so far is 1.5D. U Tubes manufactured by us meet the TEMA Acceptance Norms of 16% thinning & 10% Ovality.

  • Lube Oil Cooler

Turbine Oil Coolers are manufactured for use with turbines driven by steam as well as gas.  We carry out thermal, mechanical design and then manufacture the entire ranges of Turbine Oil Coolers suitable for Turbines of any MW Capacity manufactured by M/S BHEL, Triveni, Bellis, Siemens, Alstom etc for their different capacities Turbines. These Coolers are manufactured as per the codes specified by the customer like TEMA RCB and ASME Codes. The oil used in the system is of 56 Grade. Due to the lubrication provided by the Turbine Oil to the turbine the oil gets heated up, which is cooled by the Hydraulic Oil Cooler. Generally, the Turbine Oil Cooler is manufactured out of the Carbon Steel and Copper/Admiralty/Cupro-Nickel (90:10) / Cupro-Nickel (70:30) Tubes depending upon the type of cooling water available. We carry out Thermal & Mechanical Design and manufacture Turbine Oil Coolers according as per the client's requirements. We carry out the manufacture of Turbine Oil Coolers exactly as per the Client's existing Oil Coolers. For the same we depute our technical representative to Client's Site, examine the Turbine Oil Cooler and manufacture the new Turbine Oil Cooler exactly as per the existing ones.

  • Inter & After Cooler

Inter-Coolers & After-Cooler are used for cooling of air/gas which gets heated up during the different stages of compression of air/gas. We carry out thermal, mechanical design and then manufacture the entire ranges of Inter-Coolers & After-Coolers suitable for Compressors manufactured by M/S Ingersoll Rand, Kirloskar, Khosla, Chicago Puematic, Atlas Copco etc for their different capacities Compressors. These Coolers are manufactured as per the codes specified by the customer like TEMA RCB and ASME Codes. Generally, the Inter Coolers & After Coolers are manufactured out of the Carbon Steel and Copper/Stainless Steel/Admiralty/Cupro-Nickel (90:10)/Cupro-Nickel (70:30) Tubes depending upon the type of cooling water available. We also have data regarding the various Inter-Coolers & After-Coolers supplied with the compressors from major compressor manufacturers. In that case we confirm our design and parameters vis a vis the existing ones and manufacture the same. We carry out the manufacture Inter-Coolers & After Coolers exactly as per the Client's existing Coolers. For the same we depute our technical representative to Client's Site, examine the Cooler and manufacture the new Turbine Oil Cooler exactly as per the existing ones.
